Write to the person who builds it

There's one person behind TraceIron. Your message doesn't go into a ticket queue: it's read and answered by hand, by email.

Answered by @cgutieco, who designs and builds TraceIron.

What is it about?

Tell us what you were trying to do and what you expected to happen. Include your device, your iOS version and the steps that make it happen. What would you like to be able to do, and at what point in your workout? Paste the shared link (traceiron.com/r/…) you want us to remove.

It may already be answered

The most common questions, before you write.

Do I need to pay to use TraceIron?

No. Every feature is free, with no subscription and no trial period.

What do I need to use it?

An iPhone with iOS 26.5 or an iPad with iPadOS 26.5, or later. Apple Watch is optional: if you have one, the companion is included and needs watchOS 26.5.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Everything is saved on the device first; iCloud syncs when you're back online.

What is the Ghost Set?

Your last session of that exercise, set by set, inside every field of the current one. It changes every time you train: you always compete against last time.

Can I train in pounds?

Yes. Each exercise keeps its own unit, kilograms or pounds, and your previous best is converted if you switch.

Does it track isometric exercises?

Yes. For holds like the plank you count seconds instead of reps, and the Ghost Set compares the time held.

Can I share a routine with someone who doesn't have the app?

Yes. They get a web preview with the full content, and can import it for free once they install the app.

Is there an Android or web version?

No. TraceIron is exclusively native to the Apple ecosystem; that is a product decision, not a temporary limitation.
